Class Descriptions
RESTORATIVE
Relax and rejuvenate in a environment through the use of props or pose modifications still linking our breath, movement and intention throughout the practice.
GENTLE
Emphasis on gentle strength building, flexibility, and the use of the breath to relax and renew. Intended as a type of introductory course for new practitioners or experienced students who want a slower paced gentler class.
MIXED LEVEL
With this breath-synchronized movement, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. The poses flow smoothly and become like a dance. This practice stretches and strengthens the body from top to bottom. Acceptable for all levels of practitioners.
POWER
Challenging sequence of poses. Dynamic flow of breath and movement. Build heat from the inside and out, core strength, stamina and flexibility in this class. Some yoga experience recommended.
CHAIR YOGA
Chair yoga is designed to allow anyone to participate in a very gently and restorative form of Yoga. Increase flexibility, strength, balance and circulation. These classes are appreciated by individuals who are recovering from an injury or surgery, or may have limited mobility and endurance. Participants learn how to safely stretch and strengthen the entire body and breathing techniques for relaxation.
PRE/POSTNATAL YOGA
Linking yoga postures with the breath will lead you to experience your changing body in a positive way, and bring awareness to the mind, body and spirit, and also the spirit of your baby. The class will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort.
Class cards expire after three months. Class cards or passes may not be shared or transferred. All class cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. All rates subject to change. Cash/Checks/Credit Cards accepted.
